Hello and welcome to my blog. As always I have to come back with my look on Sunday and a bit of the sermon.

Yesterday’s sermon was about anger. The scripture was taken from the book of Jonah 4. It was concluded that anger is not bad in itself however it what’s you do with it. Anger can cause you to murder and do a lot of hurt whereas anger about injustices is not so bad as long as you do good and not something silly to make a point. I myself suffer from this and hope to get better as the days go by, so help me God.

The look
I used my fenty beauty foundation in 460 and I have to say apart from Mac studio fix fluid in NW55 this is one of the foundations that suit my skin although it looks very red when you apply, it matches the skin right after. For eye shadow I used bare minerals morning glow in the inner corners of my eyes and nightfall  which is a bit brownish on the eye lids. I also used bare minerals lip gloss in sassy sorbet. The lip colour is a bit pink. In the outer corner I used a darker shade of a contour kit I bought from lightinthebox. I also used Maybeline eye liner in green shade 37 to line my bottom waterline and gel eye liner to line my lids. I had to add a bit of colour to the eyes seeing I was in floral mood.

I wore a floral dress I bought from asos a few years back. The brand is Vila Clothes and the shoes are nine west. The dress was on sale when I got it and the shoes were a gift. I love the length and fit of this dress. I have previously worn it with a skinny belt which looks just as good.

For my hair I just took out the corn row I had on my head from Thursday or so and just fold and unfold.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today, I am taking you right back to Sunday and by that you know this blog is well late. The sermon was what I needed to hear. It was about how Paul’s eyes were set on Christ who assured him many times when he was in prison that He will be with him.

He was aware of the sovereignty of Christ Jesus so he was not shaken. This teaches us that the more you know Christ the better you are able to face tough challenges.

The foundation I used for this look was the L’Oréal True Match in Dark Coffee. I used mac prolong concealer in NW45; the one in the tiny pump and mineralised skin finish powder. The gel liner is from lightinthebox and MUA eye shadow in chamoisee. For my lips I basically mixed L’Oréal the bigger the better and Revlon’s Mink Lipstick. The dress is from H&M and shoes are from New Look.

How I clean and oven bake my chicken

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today’s post is about how I marinade and cook my chicken.

Making of the chicken

The clean

To clean my chicken I use lemon and ensure I take off any unwanted extra fat or hard bit on the legs.

The mixtress mixes spices too

I usually mix my own spices to marinade the chicken. It is only recently I have started adding other cudes and powdered spices. I usually crate onions, garlic and ginger. I then melt 2 knorr and let it cool. Adding a bit lemon and chilli powder as well.

I let this stay as is for a while while I do something else or due to laziness just leave it there for a while. I then eventually place it in the oven to slow cook for about 2 hours at 100 °C. Ensure you regulate the temperature or cook it longer.

I use 2 to 3 of this cubes depending on how many chicken I am cooking.

Some more seasoning. Not ideal I know. The aim to ensure you know what you are putting in your food.

Mix it all together. I squeezed a bit of lemon on it too

I put this on a foil and then put it in the oven to bake or cook whatever you want to call it. I use a foil all the time as I feel it better that way healthwise. Let me know if this is how you cook yours.

This is how it looks after 1.5 to 2 hours. I cut parts of it so that the marinade will go on the inside.

You can now have this however you want it. With couscous, salad, rice potatoes or by itself.

What’s in my smoothie?

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week’s smoothie had a bit of a twist. I added avocado for the first time. It does taste any different but obviously you will taste the hint of avocado in it.

The ingredient is as follows

Broccoli

Spinach

Strawberries

Blueberries

Avocado

Beetroot

Lemon

Cinnamon

Maca

Water

This is basically your more than five a day in a glass. I wanted to add kale but could not find one in Asda.

The week in review

Hello and welcome to my blog. As you may have noticed I have not been posting about my lunch meals lately. I will be doing this on a weekly basis just to ensure that the post is properly prepared. For now let’s call it The week in review.

For Monday I had potatoes, vegetables and lamb with gravy

On Tuesday I had mix vegetables with couscous and chicken Nando’s lemon and herb sauce

Wednesdays lunch was star shaped sweet potatoes with mixed vegetables and chicken

On Thursday I wanted to have couscous but turns out the cous cous had gone off due to the heat. Preservation issues. So I had vegetables and lamb.

Friday was mix vegetable brown rice and chicken with chilli sauce

I bought organic chicken this time because the free range available was to be on display till Monday. I noticed the taste was slightly different. It was really delicious. Might be due to how I cooked it.

As you can see I am trying to incorporate vegetable at every given chance. I am very strict about having a balance diet while ensuring that I have enough carbs and protein to maintain my weight.

In addition to this I have morning fruits thereby having all the nutrition I could possibly have.  So I am basically having more than five a day.

I would also like to invest in a juicer. A good one is very expensive so I am going to save up for that.

Where has she been?

The sermon was about how God can use anyone whether in faith or not for His purpose and for the good of His people. It highlighted the kind heart of some none believer but not down playing on their need for God’s righteousness which is in Christ alone.

I wore an african print which is loved by the masses. This dress was purchased for me by a lady in my church in London. And she bought it from a cloth shop probably a market in Ghana.

All made up and ready for church

Hello and welcome to my blog. Another week complete and one about to begin. Today’s sermon was to trust in God in all circumstances. So if you are going through a lot remember Paul when he was imprisoned and Job; He who begun a good work in you is faithful to complete it. God was faithful.

Today’s dress is a max dress I have had for a long time. I bought this dress from Miss Selfridge.

I am sure I have mentioned this before but I rarely wear makeup due to the fact that I’m very lazy.

I like the length of the dress but it was not loose enough as it is a size UK 4. I have come a long way with trying to put on weight so I am glad.

The thought of taking it off and cleansing your face is what I find tiring. But I do like it when I have it on. It is not something I can do Monday to Friday but we shall see as time goes on.

The eye shadow is bare minerals morning glow and MUA champagne. Lipstick is Gosh the red but the lip liqueur and Lipstick. Mascara is loreal volume million lashes. Eye brow pencil is Iman cosmetics.

For the makeup I was going for royal blue champagne and red lips and no one was stopping me. 😁

I have done this look before, I wanted to revisit with a bang . For foundation I mixed revlon in mocha and lancome in shade 16. Revlon is too cool and the lancome is too dark so together they work well. I feel.
