The Mamba Mentality Challenge With Nike

Hello and welcome. Earlier this week I was checking out the notification I get from Nike and saw this mama a mentality challenge whuch ends Sunday the 30th August 2020.

I had no intention of running as mother nature decided to reavel it face on thursday. The pain was unbareable and so I thought I will not be doing any running this weekend as I have already done 4 run 2 miles each making 8 miles in total.

I tend to sleep quite alot when mother nature visits but on the morning of Saturday the 29th August I was determined to get the mamba badge achievement and it did not come easy.

To get the badge you had to complete 8.24 km by the 30 August 2020 from the 24th August 2020. The runs could be have been completed in bits within the week stated. I actually completed my run non stop as I always do.

My average pace is 10:45 per mile however I intended to take it very easy and so my pace was 12:00 per mile. I must say this was a very relaxing one.

I did just that and got my badge. It took a while for one of my legs to recover however it was a good run and I enjoyed it.

Right aafter my run I came across the news of the pass of Chadwick Boseman. I pray that the Lord comforts his family and wife during this difficult time. Rest in peace Chadwick Boseman. 🕊️

Why i run, jog

Hello and welcome to my blog. As the title state i am going to discuss why i jog or run.


After a 6 miles jog. I did some floor exercise before i left as well.

When i started my clear skin care journey, the book (Clear Skin Diet) i read spoke of the pH level within, circulation of blood and it importance to your wellbeing and overall health. It also pointed out it importance and contribution to your overall health.


Take good care of you from the inside. You will have a lot or enough energy to complete a lot of things you need to do during thw week.

What i picked out from the book was that, your skin thrives on blood circulating and coming towards the skin on the inside. This is why diluted essential oil such as rosemary which encourage blood circulation to the surface of the skin when applied, helps with hyperpigmentation. So it is important that you do an exercise which encourages blood circulation.


You can start small and increase the distance as time goes on.

With this said, you can see that to get new blood pumping means your heart will be beating and i believe more regular. Your body and mind rest on your heart beating regularly as it pumps new blood to the other parts of the body ensuring the pH within is also balance. If your heart is not pumping new blood, your are filled with old blood which maybe toxic, causing you to fall ill regularly.


You can do some floor exercise if running is not for you.

Anything opposite this is likely to contribute to acne formation and feeling sluggish in addition to illness.

I saw a lot of improvement in my skin and general health. I slept easily and really well. I will encourage you to take up some form of exercise if you want to improve your health in addition to eating well.

Mini sports haul from TKMax…

Hello and welcome to my blog. This is a pending post i have had in my mind for a while but have not had the time to do so.

I recently bought a few addition to my work out garments and equipment from tkmax. The total of it all was just under £50.00. I have been putting this off for a while and eventually took the plung. The next plung i will take will be getting a new camera and equipment for them. I am still thinking about this.

What i bought:

* Reebok training mat: for in door and outdoor floor exercising.

* Reebook Running drinking bottle which states i run these street 🙌

* Adidas gloves which i thought was for keeping hands warm but i think it’s for cyclist.

* New balance sports bra. My victoria secret one seem to have worn out plus i have had this for a very long time. I will add to this God willing in the future.


The Reebok training mat coost: £20.00, the bottle: £5.00, the New Balance sports bra cost £13.00 and the gloves £9.00. I have rounded all these figures up by 1 pence.

There are a few things i will add to my “home gym” in the coming months. I was thinking about taking my jogging seriously this year in a bid to get my skin on point, however the weather has not been so favourable lately and has made it very difficult to do so.


Trying to figure out if it is going to rain or not 😏

I have not signed up for a gym either but the conditions of the road would not have allowed me to go to the gym. I will be better prepared if this is to happen again. I am still intereated in joining the gym so we shall see what i decide in the end.

Why i have not been up on my game

The weather has not been so favourable and it  has been very cold in my current location as compared to the previous. Had i been better prepared, i would have been able to achieve a lot by now. The beast from the east paid us a visit and you can see the result of it below.


I know the rule is no excuses but this is why i am building my own gym at home 💁

I also intend to cut down on my travels up and down the country and focus on myself. The journey can be tiring and it’s beginning to feel like a chao. I need to try and complete the ACCA qualification as well.


Aim: Cutting down on a lot of travels this year to allow me time for myself and the things i want to and need to accomplish this year

Next purchase

My next purchases will be some more indoor and outdoor excersing equipment and another jogging trainers.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am not sure if i mentioned this in my previous blog posts but i used to do a 10 miles per week jog. I documented this but never shared it as i did not want to disclose my location. However i have found a way to do it safely. This weekend i wanted to go jogging but it started drizzling so i did a bit of cardio outside then came inside to do some more and film. Although a couple of years ago i was able to jog in harsh weather conditions, i feel i need to slowly work my way to previous standards or benchmark.
