Hello and welcome to my blog. In the blogpost i have my a week in review. it is long over due i know so i have come to you with some of the meals i have been having for lunch.
This is a Lamb burger and oven baked chips.
This is a salmon salad which as avocado, tomatoes, olives, cucumber and bell peppers.
one of my go to meals when i am bored with almost everything. Salmon and a variety of vegetables.
This is salmon and wholemeal couscous. I mix the couscous in mixed vegetable and asparagus.
Here we have white potatoes with salmon and vegetables.
As you can see i have vegetables in all of these lunches that i have over the past week. This is to ensure that i am getting the nutrition i need from food and as we already know fruits and vegetable are packed with the essential minerals, nutrients and vitamins require for the body to stay healthy.
I strongly believe that if you have a balance diet rich in various vitamins and nutrients you are less likely to fall ill. I choose my ingredients carefully and research on the vitamins i can get from it, if the food item provides no nutritional value then i will have to cut it out of my diet.
I will end this blog here and until next time it bye from me.
Hello and welcome to my blog. This week’s smoothie had a bit of a twist. I added avocado for the first time. It does taste any different but obviously you will taste the hint of avocado in it.
The ingredient is as follows
The smoothie ingredients minus Broccoli
This is basically your more than five a day in a glass. I wanted to add kale but could not find one in Asda.
Viola, ready to serve…
Until next time, cheers.

Until next time , happy brunching.
Hello and welcome to my blog. This blog is about healthy drinks you can drink and todays star veg is *Cucumber*. When i started my clear skin diet, cucumber and carrot juice were my go to juices. I did my research so i was aware of the nutrition it both provided.
Cucumber is made up of 95% water and therefore is hydrating. It has many benefits to the skin both topical and internally. It has traces of folic acid, vitamin A, B, C and K, to name but a few. Those with dark circles can put a slice or the juice on your dark circle area. The benefits are countless. I can testify that it will contribute to a healthy glowy skin if you incorporate this in your diet; whether eating the vegetable as is or drinking the juice. I battled acne with this juice.
I am also aware you will be getting rid of the fiber part of the vegetable which is good for digestion. You can put it to use by making a facial out of it.
With love, signed cucumber
Where to get the juicer
You will need a very good juicer to grind the carrot especially. Argos had an affordable one in their Good Cook range and a few years ago it was not too expensive however you are now looking at spending more than £100 for a good one. I also got one from Asda from £30 however the motor didnt survive however they do have a more expensive ones as well. As mentioned above, to get one with a high watts you are looking at £100. Let me know if you have tried any juicing lately.
Feel free to share other vegetables you juice i would like to try.
Until next time, happy drinking and happy good friday.
One of my favourite combi for breakfast
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today i am going to share with you my breatfast. It has been a long time since i posted a blog.
This is rice pudding with blueberries, evaporated milk cinnamon and honey. I take in less sugar nowadays as i have replaced it with honey.
This is pretty much my staple breakfast but i switch it up when it comes to the pudding. Other alternatives are yogurt and oats.
This is two boiled eggs, baked beans and two saudages. Eating this regularly helps me maintain a healthy weight
A year ago i tried the weight gainer shakes but it was too sweet due to the sugar content. I switched to having two eats instead to gain more protein the healthy way. I can tell i have gained some weight but not too much.
Until next time, its bye from me.
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today i am taking you to a kitchen in the continent of africa; a ghanaian kitchen.
This meal is known as kenkey and pepper. The kenkey is made of milled corn or maize sifted like when you sift flour. The corn or maize is soaked in water for a couple of days then taken to the milled center to mill. They are then formed into balls and wrapped in the corn leaves and boiled. One thing i like about this is that it is not over processed and has no additives.
You can prepare porridge for breakfast by adding water and leaving it on fire to thicken; add some sugar or honey, evaporated milk or any milk of your choice and there you have your breakfast.
Kenkey, pepper and chilli (Shito)
It is usually eaten with pepper and tomotoes grinded and blended together and fried fish, fried eggs or tinned titus tuna however i had this with salmon. You can also add chilli. The dark sauce you see is the chilli and it’s called shito. It is made of dried powdered herrings, shrimps and pepper stewed. This is vegetarian friendly if you have the kenkey and the pepper without the chilli.
Untill next time its bon appettit from me.
A sprinkle of olive oil
Bulgar with mixed vegetables, Salmon and chilli (on the foil)
I basically boiled water with lamb stock and pour the boiling water in the boil containing the bulgar and covered it to soften.
I then sort of steamed the vegetables and added them to the bulgar.
Until next lunch bon appettit
I usually have more vegetables than the above such as cucumber and olives in my salad.
Healthy Lunch Ideas
Another example of my go to meal when i am not able to cook anything like my vegetable brown rice or basically anything else. But yes i do like salmon alot. I could eat this for an entire week but switch it up. I added a a little bit of mayonaise and bbq sauce for taste.
Until next time its bon appettit
I will come back in the coming months with an indepth healthy eating and how it has affected my skin; as in how i cleared my acne through regular exercise and clean eating.
I love this combination. I believe a healthy lifestyle should start from within. One must try to eat clean.
Until next time Bon Appétit
