Hello and welcome to my blog. This is a bit late. As you can see I have changed the name. From now on it will be what I wore last sunday.

The word

Faith in God applies not only to dramatic events in life it applies also to the ordinary everyday life and all circumstances.

Belief in God is an obligation to all nations. Jonah was addressing a nation and God was speaking to a nation through Jonah.

Belief in God in what He is saying. He spoke through Jesus Christ His son concerning His promises for us. So then it is up to you if you want to believe and accept His promise of eternal life.

The look

I used my loreal true match in dark coffee and gosh cosmetics the red lip liquid. I had braids in my hair for a very long time so I took them out, treated it and straightened it.

The dress I wore is from Dorothy Perking Voulez vous range and the shoe and tiny purse is from asos. I made a video of this which can be found on my YouTube channel. I enjoyed putting this look together and I was glad the dress finally fit as when I first got it, it didn’t fit me well. It’s not too much yet it’s too much.

So this is it. Thanks for stopping by.

Your hair will love this

Hello and welcome to my blog. This blog is basically about some of the natural homemade remedies I make and use to deep condition my hair. There is nothing new about this sort of mixture.

The avocado hair mix

When I first started out in my natural hair journey, I tried a lot of things. And being worried about too many chemicals in off the shelf products, I used a lot more clays and Indian powders like Neem and Amla. I also deep conditioned with fruits such as banana, avocado and even papaya.

When my hair was relaxed I tried the York, honey and olive oil mixture. There was an interview with Kimora Lee Simmons in the Sophisticated Black Hair magazine who stated that this was what she used to deep condition her hair. So I decided to try and my result is as below; my hair felt strong, voluminous and bouncy.

This is me when I first tried what Kimora suggested in her interview. I washed the hair and put rollers in 🤭 I was about 17 or 18 at that time, it was 2006. My hair was coloured as well.

This is how the mixture looks like with all the ingredients

Having taken out my hair about three weeks ago I decided to treat the hair by deep conditioning with this all natural homemade hair mask.

The ingredient I used. I will probably do this once a month or once every two weeks. My hair is most likely going to be in braids most of the time but summer is here so for a long as I have it out

The ingredients in the mask is as follows:

Avocado

Egg York

Avocado oil

Jojoba oil

Olive oil

Coconut oil

Castor oil

Honey

Glycerine

A squeeze of lemon

Cedarwood, Peppermint, Rosemary, Frankincense and Lavender essential oil

Tea spoon of apple cider vinegar

Aloe Vera and Rosemary floral water

Detangle and section the hair

I then put the mixture in my hair in sections.

I left it on for a about 2 to 3 hours while I did something else and washed it off. I oiled my hair and scalp with an oil mixture I made for my self, I then used the African Pride’s leave in conditioner and my shea butter mix to moisturise. I followed this with detangling and cornrow the hair. I took out the cornrow the next day and my hair was as below, it was very soft.

I am not too bothered about defined curls so I was happy with the result. Although my face takes most of the shots, I had not planned to blog about this. I filmed it to post on YouTube, I will take pictures of the hair when I do do this again.

I will end this here and until next time, it bye from me.

I just like playing with colours. I am very new to all this type of makeup and trying my best to do a good job on myself all the times.

These are the product i used for my eye lids.

The eye shadow i used is the MUA eye shadow in Chestnut as base, midnight blue and MAC black eye shadow. I used the MUA eye shadow in champaigne in the tear dot. For mascara i am using L’Oreals volume million lashes.

For the look below i was not sure whether to go for red or a different colour lippy and in the end i went for the Barrym lip liquid in Signature. The signature colour is similar to Revlons pink pout which i love.

The natural hair journey continues…

Hello and welcome,
It’s all about hair talk in this post. I am going to give you a synopsis of my natural hair journey with a few pictures. My natural hair journey started in 2009. My last relaxer was mid 2009 probably around July when I was still in the south of France. Upon my return to the UK, I decided to not  relax my hair anymore. You would think that since it has been about 7 years my hair should basically be sweeping the floor. But no it is not. My hair has gone through a lot of things during those years but what affected it the most was COLOUR.

One of my natural hair protective style i wore in 2015

I have adapted various techniques and styles on YouTube, in magazines, blogs you name them and whereas they have aided in the health and growth of the hair I feel my hair has a lot more growth potential.

This picture was taken around mid to late 2010 so probably a year into my natural hair journey.

In 2017 I do not feel I have achieved enough growth. This might be due to ups and down causing me to not exercise on a regular basis, cook and eat nutritional meals reach in vitamins, protein and Fibre. I will share some of my lunch ideas going forward.

Jogging history

I used to do about 10 miles run or jogging a week to keep my energy up. As I have stated before I have not done this in like about a year according to my sports tracker although I do walk quite a bit so I do not know if that counts as part of it.

Natural hair when wet

So my new year “hairesolution” is to incorporate more protective style such as braids, corn rows, wearing wigs and other styles with my own hair. I have also decided not to colour my hair again because I lost about 4 -5 years growth.

I have purchased and will also be trying the Solgar biotin and collagen and hyaluronic acid from Holland and Barrett. I will keep you updated on any improvement on my hair and skin.
