Hello and welcome
Hello and welcome to my blog. As you can see from the title, this is all about the WORD, fashion and beauty. I am going through a bit of shuffling in my mind and may make a few changes; I will leave that for another blogpost.
We are still exploring the book of Titus. God wants the church of today to show forth the love of Christ on the way we relate to each other. We were also reminded that Love has no place for slander. Paul ask the older women to share their wisdom and encourage the young women.
So if you are older in a church be sure to encourage and correct where necessary. It’s a lonely world out there any piece of encourage can go a long way.
Look and outfit
I wore an african print aka Ankara dres. This dress was made in Ghana and was bought already made. At first sight I didn’t think I would like it, but I have managed pull a two styles out of it one with belt and the other with out.
This me shamelessly posing and showing off my inner Next Top Model fun pose
The dress is a maternity dress top belted it with a skinny belt from some other H&M corporate skirt or dress. And oh the shoes are from NewLook.
I used my M. A. C studio fix foundation in NW55 and their concealor cover up in NW45. For eye shadow I used MUA eye shadow in midnight blue and one of MAC dazzle eye shadow in get phisical and BarryMs meteor storm in the corner of my eyes.
For my lips I used BarryMs lip pencil in plum and Revlon’s lipstick in Mink. I basically just mixed the two.
I should really start doing makeup videos not tutorials but just a how I got my look video on you tube.
Until next time, it’s bye from me.
Hello and welcome to my blog. This is another post on what I wore last sunday but first let get to the word.
The preaching was based on the importance of godly leadership in every church. The scripture was taken from Titus and it basically show how some leaders in the church can be full of themselves and seeking praise and honour rather the praise and honour to and for Christ. So then the question is How seriously do we take the Lord Jesus Christ and the work of salvation He has accomplished? . A question I need to ponder upon everyday.
I have come to realise that some bright eyeshadow don’t suit me well unless I am not applying it well. I will keep trying bright colours though and maybe pairing it properly with my lipstick could work too. For my foundation I used fenty beauty in 460, M.A.C skin finish in dark deep powder, I also used the cover up concealer in NW45 and set my under eye with Ben nye in Topaz. For my lips I am wearing Gosh Cosmetics The Red and for eyeshadow I used M. A. C carbon and one of the grey-like shade in BarryM’s Meteor Storm
I wore a new look midi dress and silver shoes from Miss Selfridge. That’s just about it. I wore those earring about a little over a year ago when I was bridesmaid at a friend’s wedding. The church that I go to is low key so the shoes, earrings and hair piece was for exhibition purposes. I usually wear stud earrings but they have all gone down the drain and I have none at the moment.
This is it from me today u till next time it’s bye from me.
Hello and welcome. I am coming to you again with what I wore last sunday. But first the word.
The opening statement was “whosoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be save” God promised His elect “those who have come to faith in Christ” that they will have eternal life. Some kind of deliverance was promised. Deliverance from death.
God did this through His son Jesus. God determined that the elect will be saved through the work of His son Jesus Christ. By elect I mean whosoever which applies to I, you, her, him, them and they.
I wore a combination of green and black and tried to have the same with my makeup. The eye shadow I used are MAC cosmetic, MUA and L’Oréal treuematch foundation in dark coffee. I concealed with Mac and L A pro, on my lips is revlon pink pout together with BarryM lip liner in plum. I delive I have covered everything.
I wore a skirt and open shoe I got from asos some years back, black blouse from primark. I’m not too big on jewelry but on Sunday I wore a piece of necklace I got from Marks & Spencers.
That’s all for today. Until next time have a bled week!
Hello and welcome to my blog. This is a bit late. As you can see I have changed the name. From now on it will be what I wore last sunday.
Faith in God applies not only to dramatic events in life it applies also to the ordinary everyday life and all circumstances.
Belief in God is an obligation to all nations. Jonah was addressing a nation and God was speaking to a nation through Jonah.
Belief in God in what He is saying. He spoke through Jesus Christ His son concerning His promises for us. So then it is up to you if you want to believe and accept His promise of eternal life.
I used my loreal true match in dark coffee and gosh cosmetics the red lip liquid. I had braids in my hair for a very long time so I took them out, treated it and straightened it.
The dress I wore is from Dorothy Perking Voulez vous range and the shoe and tiny purse is from asos. I made a video of this which can be found on my YouTube channel. I enjoyed putting this look together and I was glad the dress finally fit as when I first got it, it didn’t fit me well. It’s not too much yet it’s too much.
So this is it. Thanks for stopping by.
Hello and welcome to my blog. As always without fail I am coming to you all with all dressed up an ready for church.
The word went something like this: Faith is the heart beat of Christianity. Without faith we cannot live the Christian life and without it we cannot please God.
The woman with the issue of blood had a Determined, directed and actioned faith. Mark 5:25
Her faith was challenged by circumstances and by her illness. Her faith gave her sense of hopefulness. Hope and faith and closely linked. The woman with the issue of blood had frequent disappointments but was still hopeful. In conclusion without faith its impossible to please God.
I wore a long body con turtle neck dress I bought from asos a year ago I believe and as always this did not fit well then and an asos open toe heels.
I am still exploring with BarryM Meteor Storm pallette. I used the palette to create this look. I used to have those 88 shade eye shadow palette from Ebay but for some reason I cannot find it so I glad i had the palette. The lip colour is elf Ruby red lipstick, I am convinced there’s sugar in this lips stick because it taste sweet.
That’s it for this post. Until next time it’s bye from me.
Hello and welcome to my blog. Another Sunday and thankful for God mercy and grace.
Hello it’s me again
I must say I do love the weekend: time to rest and refresh my mind for the week ahead.
So Sundays sermon was taken from Romans 8:1-8 which is Justification of those who believe in God through Christ Jesus.
Those who believe in God through Christ Jesus have been declared to be not guilty based on what Christ has done for us on the cross. The price has been paid by His Son Jesus Christ. We have received an assurance we are His children. We will share on Christs glory as a result the Spirit intercede for us. Glory to God.
So I tried to do a green and black eye shadow. For my lips I am wearing BarryM lip liner in plum and L’Oréal’s lip infallible ‘The Bigger The Better’. For my foundation, I mixed L’Oréal’s Deep cool and Lancome’s new foundation in shade 16 so Y because I couldn’t find my L’Oréal truematch in dark coffee. The eye shadow I used is MUA cosmetics, bare minerals mascara and gel eye liner.
I wore a green and black dress given to me by my mother. The dress is from Oasis and I must say it fits better now that I have a few pounds on.
That’s all for today. Until next time stay blessed and have a fruitful wheel.
Hello and welcome to my blog. This is another all dressed up and ready for church. First the word.
So the sermon was about God’s glory in man dignity. It was about the fall of man and God’s determination to bring him back to Himself. Our relationship with Him was destroyed but rebuilt through the death, ressurection and acsension of Christ Jesus. The question was taken from Psalm 8 when David ask God ‘What is man that You are mindful of him?’
Last week I did say I was going to use the BarryM palette again. I have another look in mind and will use it again to see if I can achieve that look. I wore the look when I was on holiday recently.
I was wearing coral Trouser and I had a colour to match it so I was glad I could make use of it.
I recently went on holiday so I have gone a bit dark because it looks like my MAC foundation is a hit too bright for me now. I probably won’t need it till winter now.
I wore this coral Trouser from asos. I have had this for a while but it was too big so I rarely wore it. The top is from H&M Australia and the shoes are from Bank. I am not too sure if Bank still exist but I have not seen an outlet in a while.
I believe that’s it for today. Until next time, have a lovely week.
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today’s post is all about my look on Sunday. Last Sunday was fathers day and the sermon was about fathers unfortunately I had to do a few things during the sermon so I guess you can call me Martha, I missed the message. I wanted to keep it light and natural on Sunday partly because I was very tired. As part of the ushering team we wear uniforms every Sunday and last Sunday’s s was black and grey suit.
A few full shot
A few head and facial shots
I did these shots in the kitchen the lighting was amazing and I had selfie lighting as well. I used loreal truematch in dark coffee and MUA eye shadow. For the lips I am wearing bare minerals and BarryM lip pencil in plum.
Until next time, it’s bye from me.
All set and ready for church
Hello and welcome to my blog. Yesterday we had a lovely weather in the UK. The sun was out so it was hot.
The sermon was about based on questions the disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24. When shall these things be and what are the signs of thy coming? It was concluded that it is not our job to try and read signs of His second coming to to focus on our responsibility as Christians and live a life faithful before God. Remind me of R C Sprolls phrase “To live all of life Coram Deo” which means to live life in the presence of God even though you don’t see Him.
As the sun was out, I decided to wear another african print dress. See the slide below. This dress was gifted to me and as always the shoes are old new look shoes.
The look: makeup
The eye shadow is MUA copper and another colour similar to the greenish dots in my dress. I used MAC foundation in NW55 this time, I do not use this that often because it for special occasion as it a bit pricey. The lip colour is mainly BarryM lip pencil in chocolate. I say mainly because I used another old Mac lip gloss and bare minerales mascara on the lashes. I wanted to tone down the colour since the dress was very bright and cheerful lol. I am not a big fan of lashes as I usually wear glasses although I have a few of them. I was wearing contact lenses in this picture so if my eyes look a bit strange that is the reason. The aim is now to play with colours on the eyes while still keeping it natural.
That’s all for this blog. Until next time, stay blessed.
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today, I am taking you right back to Sunday and by that you know this blog is well late. The sermon was what I needed to hear. It was about how Paul’s eyes were set on Christ who assured him many times when he was in prison that He will be with him.
He was aware of the sovereignty of Christ Jesus so he was not shaken. This teaches us that the more you know Christ the better you are able to face tough challenges.
The entire look:
The foundation I used for this look was the L’Oréal True Match in Dark Coffee. I used mac prolong concealer in NW45; the one in the tiny pump and mineralised skin finish powder. The gel liner is from lightinthebox and MUA eye shadow in chamoisee. For my lips I basically mixed L’Oréal the bigger the better and Revlon’s Mink Lipstick. The dress is from H&M and shoes are from New Look.
Finally, I hope you have had a blessed week.
Until next time stay blessed.
