Hello and welcome to my blog. This is another all dressed up and ready for church. First the word.
Incense were left burning as a sweet smelling savour to God in the temple. The fragrance symbolises the acceptance of sacrifices. They represented the basis on which the sacrifice could be made. It’s Jesus’ sinless life that makes Jesus sacrifice a sweet smelling savour and pleasing to God. In essence no other sacrifice can top God’s own to redeem made to Himself.
I used the BarryM Meteor Storm pallette again to create my makeup took. I am not sure if I have mentioned this before but I do not wear eyelashes so my makeup tend to look very basic.
For my outfit I opted for this floral skirt from asos and blouse from H & M, the shoes are from asos from their Truffle Collection. I purchased the skirt a few years back. I have currently made austerity measures and so I am not allowed to go on asos website lest I get tempted and spend money I do not have. 😁
When the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Unfortunate it look summer is coming it an end and autumn is slowly revealing it head. So I am glad I have worn all my floral but I will still wear these in winter if I can that is.
So this is it. Thanks for stopping. Until next time, it’s bye from me.
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today’s post is about last Sundays look which is well late, as always, but it’s better late than never. Last Sunday’s sermon was about God’s providence and the question Job raised was shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive evil? This is a question you should ponder upon.
Since it’s summer I am playing with colours with my clothes and my makeup pallette. I wore this look for my 29th birthday and thought let’s recycle. The skirt is from Asos and the stop and shoes are from top shop.
For the makeup I used MUA cosmetics bright vibrant colours and their single midnight blue pallette.
For my lips I used L’Oréal infallible lip gloss in the bigger the better and lined my lips with BarryM lip pencil in plum. I also keep reaching for my L’Oréal True Match in dark coffee.
That’s it for today until next time it bye. Let me know if you are trying bright and bold colours this summer or nude and neutral colours.
All set and ready for church
Hello and welcome to my blog. Yesterday we had a lovely weather in the UK. The sun was out so it was hot.
The sermon was about based on questions the disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24. When shall these things be and what are the signs of thy coming? It was concluded that it is not our job to try and read signs of His second coming to to focus on our responsibility as Christians and live a life faithful before God. Remind me of R C Sprolls phrase “To live all of life Coram Deo” which means to live life in the presence of God even though you don’t see Him.
As the sun was out, I decided to wear another african print dress. See the slide below. This dress was gifted to me and as always the shoes are old new look shoes.
The look: makeup
The eye shadow is MUA copper and another colour similar to the greenish dots in my dress. I used MAC foundation in NW55 this time, I do not use this that often because it for special occasion as it a bit pricey. The lip colour is mainly BarryM lip pencil in chocolate. I say mainly because I used another old Mac lip gloss and bare minerales mascara on the lashes. I wanted to tone down the colour since the dress was very bright and cheerful lol. I am not a big fan of lashes as I usually wear glasses although I have a few of them. I was wearing contact lenses in this picture so if my eyes look a bit strange that is the reason. The aim is now to play with colours on the eyes while still keeping it natural.
That’s all for this blog. Until next time, stay blessed.
Hello and welcome to my blog. So I recently came across the new Huawei mobile phone and having previously had the P8 I was excited about this new release. I got this phone on Tuesday as part of an upgrade from my previous plan with EE.
I am glad they still have the filters from the previous P8 on this too.
I have done one test with the phone which is editing a picture I took on my Sony 5100 another investment I made this month. The results was really good and I feel I am going have a lot of fun with both of them. The photo editing capability is really good so I am happy about that.
Shine bright like the diamonds✨
So I am looking forward to artistic pictures of objects and my face of course 🤭. I feel like I should have gone for the pro but one always has to stay within their budget. So far I like it but I have only had it for less than 48 hours so let’s wait and see.
I also like how healthy I look in this picture as in full not too skinny on the face obvious it is because I am smiling 😊
I will report back with pictures taken and edited on the device.
P.s This is an upgrade, I didn’t purchase this phone out right although I did consider that.
Until next time, happy selfing.
Hello and welcome to my blog. This os a long awaiting blog and thua there is not going to be too much words.
As you can see i was very busy with loreal during last year.
My 2017 favourite is mostly the loreal infallible line. Simply because they did the job for me. I got pretty amazing look from the line. I played around with foundations from deep golden to deep cool, mixing cuppacino and espresso as i was not sure which was my shade but got my shade in the end which i believe is 11N Dark Coffee. I could be wrong but i like that finish to the deep golden and deep cool. The matte lip colour: Forgive my sin was my favourite lip colour too. I am in my red phase still.
Im currently wearing forgive my sin in this picture not too sure which shade of foundation of the true match im wearing. The eyeshadow is MUA
The BarryM lip pencil in plum also helped me alot. As mentioned before i love their lip penciles. I may try their eye shadows this year.
Revlons pink pout with BarryM lip liner Plum
Revlon’s pink pout has also been a staple lip colour I reached for. I have worn it many time last year.
Iman cosmetics eyebrow pencil. I prefer the colour to other eyebrow pencils i have tried.
I was going for a natural look with the true match in this picture. You can call it my no makeup makeup look.
For concealer i prefer and use MAC’s prolong wear and cover up. It just does the job. I have tried other concealers and let’s just say i returned to my first love. In addition to their skin finish in dark deep. I think.
Not forgetting Fenty beauty in 460 although it looks red when first applied, it does give a good matte finish and matches me perfectly.
Until next time, its bye from me
I just like playing with colours. I am very new to all this type of makeup and trying my best to do a good job on myself all the times.
These are the product i used for my eye lids.
The eye shadow i used is the MUA eye shadow in Chestnut as base, midnight blue and MAC black eye shadow. I used the MUA eye shadow in champaigne in the tear dot. For mascara i am using L’Oreals volume million lashes.
For the look below i was not sure whether to go for red or a different colour lippy and in the end i went for the Barrym lip liquid in Signature. The signature colour is similar to Revlons pink pout which i love.
I am not an MUA i just like to play with colours 💄💋
I wanted to go for a more natural look but look what happened in the end. I can not help it , i am a colourful girl.
Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time its bye from me.
Hello and welcome to my blog. This is a beauty post about the BarryM matchmaker lip liquid in signature and nail paint in extravagant. I got the below for free when i bought a couple of lip pencils from Superdrug. I didnt want to line my lip so the real colour can be seen however after taking a couple of pictures i lined my lip with BarryMs lip liner in plum (my favourite).
The lip liquid dries matte and dries quick as well. It looks like although they come in the same pack they are both different coloura. The nail paint looks like dark red and the lip liquid looks metalic kinda pink.
Please note that i have demist the above picture on my huawei P8 so the lip paint looks very pink however in real life it looks like the picture below.
I love the nail paint. The colour is what i will go for any day. It looks dark red but i think its burgandy with sparkles. When it comes to Barry M i love their lip pencils and nail paints. I tried them about 4 years ago and now im hooked.
The above picture has no filter on it and thus display the real colour of the lip liquid.
Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time it bye for now.
BarryM Makemaker: Lip and Nail kit
Hello everyone, I hope you have had a good start of 2018. I am back with yet another beauty review. And its the one and only BarryM match maker lip and nail kit. I got this for free when i purchased 3 lip pencils worth £2.99 each from superdrug. The kit was free when you spent £8.00 or more on selected BarryM costmetics.
The nail polish colour is #Extravagant. its really pigmented and a little goes a long way.
Before i go any further i would like to take this opportunity to express how much i love BarryM lip pencils. The colour plum no# 11 is my go to lip liner pencil for all my lipsticks and glosses.
Picture on the left when i first applied the BarryM matte me up with lip liner BarryM in plum. Picture on the right is early hours of new years day.
I have the pencils in red, chocolate and plum and used to have burgandy. The plan was to wear the lip gloss and nail polish on new years eve to church but i could only wear the lip gloss as i was in a rush.
I do not wear artificial nails. I prefer to grow and nurture my own. I have had to shorten them so they dont break as others have.
A couple of years back when i played with bright colours, i bought their nail vanish in bright colours. Then i switch to black for a while. I absolutely love this colour: looks red with sparkles. #Sold. I love red. I have a blog on bright colours coming soon. I already have a BarryM clear sparle nail polish which i want to wear with a black layer underneath.
BarryM matchmaker kit
I was in a rush on the day so i will upload better pictures of the lip liquid again next time. I am not sure how much it cost by itself.
Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time its bye from me.
