Hello and welcome to my blog. Today’s post is all about my look on Sunday. Last Sunday was fathers day and the sermon was about fathers unfortunately I had to do a few things during the sermon so I guess you can call me Martha, I missed the message. I wanted to keep it light and natural on Sunday partly because I was very tired. As part of the ushering team we wear uniforms every Sunday and last Sunday’s s was black and grey suit.

I did these shots in the kitchen the lighting was amazing and I had selfie lighting as well. I used loreal truematch in dark coffee and MUA eye shadow. For the lips I am wearing bare minerals and BarryM lip pencil in plum.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am not sure if I have mentioned this before but I mostly buy items on sale and never full price unless I really need to. With that said you will never see me featured on any of the high street retail Instagram page 🤭. OK I know never say never.
One of my good friends birthday outing was this Saturday so I pulled out all the old garments I have purchased. I usually do not have anywhere to go so I have had them for years but maximum 4 years. The sandals I wore was a Nine West sandles I bought from asos some years back. The jumpsuit is from Miss Selfridge, they were the only shop that usually stock my size so I shopped there a lot from their petite fashion.
The jumpsuit has a gold detail skinny belt which adds a bit of character to it. I thought the colour was a bit too much but then when I wore it out it was just fine. I also found an OPI nail polish which matched the jumpsuit. Those are my real nails you see the slide as well.
The birthday girl gave me the opportunity to do her makeup and hair #blessed. This was her final look. She uses a super drug brand foundation and MUA eye shadow pallette. We both wore a jumpsuit however hers are from boohoo.
I know this is well late but better late than never. I am now off to edit my workout video for YouTube. Stay tuned

Hello and welcome to my blog. So as you may see from the title, I am currently on YouTube. I have put up some four videos. I will be doing my utmost best to upload a video every now and then, mostly once every week and increase it to two in the future God willing. My username on YouTube is Iryn Boateng.
I don’t have set days I upload yet but will try to find when it will be appropriate for me to do so. Maintaining the channel involves a lot of commitment so I will try my best. My next post will be my regular workout which I am currently editing.

What’s in my perfect ten smoothie
Hello and welcome to my blog. I recently made a smoothie which had ten ingredient in it. It was actually quite tasty. I initial bought the fruit to have at work and they were for to ripen at home however I left it for too long so I decided to make a smoothie out of them.

This is packed with multi vitamins and nutrients that the body needs to function to it optimum level. They are quite a lot and you don’t have to use it all but if your fruits are about to go off this is one way of making good use of them.

Hello and welcome. Here is a two blogs in one. I have been a bit busy over the past two weeks as I had an exam. So a bit about this Sundays WORD was a question. As a believe how seriously do you take God. Do you profess with your mouth and live any how? Time to think, ponder and change if need be. How shall we neglect so great a salvation? God hate sin and has provided atonement for us in Christ Jesus, let’s not make a mockry of Him by living any how.
Last Sunday’s look
For this look, the trousers is from asos, the blouse is from H&M. The black and white shoes are from Dorothy Perkins and the nudeish one is from new look. The trouser in this picture didn’t fit me back then, but now they do and I am glad. The eye shadow in this picture is MUA and the lips are elf cosmetics Ruby Red.
This Sundays look
As you can see I am slowly movi g toward vibrant colours. For the eye shadow I used MUA and my lips are BarryM matte me up. The skirt is from Asos, I bought this a few years ago but it didn’t fit either, it does now although it has been adjusted I can take the adjusted part off. The blouse is from Primark. Now that I have a better eating habit, I fit in the size 6 properly as well as 8. I think before the sizing was not true and was a hit and miss for me.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This is just a short piece of me remenicing about my holiday to Greece last year.
This is Notos, Panorama Greece which inspired this piece.
When we hopped off the boat at Notos, I decided to look around. The sky was blue, the sun was not shy at all and the birds were chirping. The Greeks didn’t seem to stress much.
Just a few directions for the tourist. The most important one being the WC, obviously. 😂
Then I thought to self ‘this is life’. To me the sound of the birds chirping, the blue sky and colourful scenery brought a lot of peace compared to what I was used to. “Why can’t it be like this all the time?” I pondered. One must sit back and enjoy life. Sometimes you need a change of scenery to be able to think well and freely, to motivate you to do more or better, you become alert and are reminded of what really matters in life.
This is one of many post to follow.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This blogpost is about a wholemeal noodles turkey stir fry I made last week. I was on course to have noodle for the week and I stambled upon a WHOLEMEAL NOODLES in Asda.
The ingredient I used in preparing this are:
* Wholemeal noodles
* Bell Peppers: Red, Yellow and Green or whatever mix you have. You can swap this with mix frozen vegetables.
* Olive oil
*Grounded black pepper
* Cayenne pepper
* Turkey fillet
You do not need that much ginger. One of these will do. I use red onion in my cooking but you can used
Grate the onion, garlic and ginger
Cut the turkey fillet and wash it in lemon water
I sliced the bell peppers to whatever shape you desire
I then put a wok on fire add olive oil and the grate onions, ginger and ginger. Fry for about 5 to 10 mins on medium heat
Add the turkey and stir in the mixture
I add the chopped peppers and let it fry together
I then added grounded black pepper and cayenne pepper. Mixed it well together
Add the oyster sauce and mix well together
You can use whatever amount you please
Add the Wholemeal noodles
Stir in the noodles and cover for 5 to 10 minutes stiring regularly. Ensure the heat is low.

All set and ready for church
Hello and welcome to my blog. Yesterday we had a lovely weather in the UK. The sun was out so it was hot.
The sermon was about based on questions the disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24. When shall these things be and what are the signs of thy coming? It was concluded that it is not our job to try and read signs of His second coming to to focus on our responsibility as Christians and live a life faithful before God. Remind me of R C Sprolls phrase “To live all of life Coram Deo” which means to live life in the presence of God even though you don’t see Him.
As the sun was out, I decided to wear another african print dress. See the slide below. This dress was gifted to me and as always the shoes are old new look shoes.
The look: makeup
The eye shadow is MUA copper and another colour similar to the greenish dots in my dress. I used MAC foundation in NW55 this time, I do not use this that often because it for special occasion as it a bit pricey. The lip colour is mainly BarryM lip pencil in chocolate. I say mainly because I used another old Mac lip gloss and bare minerales mascara on the lashes. I wanted to tone down the colour since the dress was very bright and cheerful lol. I am not a big fan of lashes as I usually wear glasses although I have a few of them. I was wearing contact lenses in this picture so if my eyes look a bit strange that is the reason. The aim is now to play with colours on the eyes while still keeping it natural.

I didn’t use all the ingredient just so I don’t waste them.
This is your more than five a day in one glass. The last time I added kale to my smoothie I regretted it; this was a couple of years ago. I struggled to drink it as it tasted and smelt awful so this time I added Cinnamon as I have been doing. The taste is not so bad thank God.

Hello and welcome to my blog. So it looks like I missed last week’s week in review. I was off from work so didn’t really do much with food. No smoothie however I did retreat to the usual chicken. This post will be a mixture of last week’s and last two weeks.
This was Mondays lunch. Mix vegetable bulgur and left over lamb
This is a mix vegetable and turkey Wholemeal noodles. I believe I had this on Tuesday. I will blog about the recipe later
I had this for dinner on two occasion. Oven baked chips, bread chicken and mix vegetable. What you see on the chips is Nando’s perperi salt
This salad I had on Wednesday doesn’t look appetising lol but yes it was nice
This is Wholemeal turkey fajitas. I made this a couple of weeks ago and kept a bit of it in the freezer just so it does go off. Thursday’s lunch

I had a bit more bananas this week as the tangerine and apples were quite difficult to eat. They were not as sweet as previous weeks fruits. 😬
As you can see from my lunch, I am trying to have a variety of meal and this is because I am not a big fan of food so I am trying to have different meals available to encourage myself to eat.
